Technical Support • Auto Folder Creation

After starting the game a folder named 'a' is created ?
The game is installed on an external drive, game version 1.18.4
Contents of 'a'
a\msys64\var\cache\fontconfig\ 2 files inside: CACHEDIR.TAG & f775274427cced4e8d364ae3bb4a4b1f-x86_64.cache-8

I placed wesnoth inside another folder thinking that the 'a' folder would be hidden within it but it still appears in the root of the external drive.

Any help to solve this annoyance would be appreciated.
