Okay this is going to be fairly long, some questions will undoubtedly have been answered already or just be stupid questions but.
What is the criteria for a mainline campaign? I notice things like the new drake campaign being added and orcish incursion being taken out. But why? I don't have any problem with either these things but I'm just curious why they happen.
And why don't they happen with some other amazing add on campaigns. Obviously it wouldn't happen with LOTI because it's way too big and complete changes wesnoth mechanics. But campaigns like invasion from the unknown seem like a given. I know it'll technically not be canon but surely a campaign becomes canon when it's added to the mainline.
Another off topic question, is the dragon trilogy worth playing? I saw aria the dragon slayer on the wiki and thought it sounded cool. Does it fit into the timeline and canon? I know it technically won't be but would it be able to fit in or do things mess up the real timeline.
