(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?
Version 1.18.4, Biased RNG (experimental), difficulty Great Mage (Difficult) ( = hard)
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
9
(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Very clear.
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Very clear.
(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Quite a number of challenges.
First, Walkthrough's recommendation to just head south without recruiting appears to be right. This way enemies approach the fortification at dawn, ideal for dealing with them. Also, recalling and recruiting right at the fortification is much easier.
Nevertheless it was hard to get through the first night. Certainly 10 reloads of these two turns until it worked out without a unit loss. In the replay this looks easy, still every small move was the result of quite some try and error.
Starting at turn 15, dealing with this Spectre and the Nightgaunt was surprisingly hard. I had to roll back 3 or 4 turns to bring in more troops. On the first approach, a Halberdier, a Horseman, an Elvish Druid and a Silver Mage were not enough.
And then these surprise enemies in villages. Not hard to deal with them if one knows they're there, yet one first has to learn that, just to try again. In the replay one can see in turn 13 and 21 how I bring in considerable forces just to seize a village – because I knew already what was waiting there.
(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
8
I don't like fatal surprises like half an enemy army suddenly pouring out of a village. Other parts of the scenario are excellent, hence 8 of 10.
(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Better if there'd be less surprise enemies in this villages. At least there should be a chance to run away.
(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
Many reloads, see above. A couple of forced ones as well.
