It seems that some Death Elves units do not count towards the "Kill Death Elves" mission from the Elvish Guard. I just killed a Slave (note that it didn't turn into a walking corpse, despite what "Sacrifice" states - he died after he attacked me, so not me attacking him) and a Death Elf Mage and neither counted towards that mission.
[edit] Another bug: I went to "ancient ruins" in Darkwood and got this message. The skill shows as now 0, but it did in fact increase the Smithing by 5 points, so the bug is only visual:

- Flame Steam Guard and Fire Elemental (melee) now has the burning weapon special
- Flame Steam Guard now has a flamethrower attack animation
- Flamegun is so far the only way hero weapon with weaponspecial burns
