Hi,
this may fall under the "no politics/no religion"-rule in this forum, please tell me if I should delete this post. However, I have a question I did not find an answer to elsewhere.
Why are "Invasion from the Unknown" and "After the Storm" not made official parts of the Wesnoth timeline?
Their story fits well into the world (AFAIK there even are some user-created scenarios using their setting), and to me it looks like a good addition to Wesnoth. When I played them for the first time some years back, I sincerely thought they were in a beta / development stage to be made official a few years later, but that did not happen.
So, what are the policies for campaigns / timeline extensions to be added to the Wesnoth setting, and are there any reasons why this has not yet been done? I think this would also be a good thing honouring their creator.
I think it would be good if there was more information available for what reasons they were excluded. Knowing the reasons also would help me understand the "mainline setting" of Wesnoth better.
